We intended to trek in the Sunnegga area of Zermatt and then move on to our next destination. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we learned that trekking in May was not possible due to lingering snow. So, we quickly decided on Sion as an alternative destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also considered Montreux, known for its Freddie Mercury statue, but its distance made it less feasible. Encouraged, we continued our ascent.
